Hands On member Nancy Tyree with handmade bags she made for ladies in recovery program.
We sent 9 handmade bags to Integrated Care of Hickory. These bags went to ladies that are in a recovery program. We filled the bags with needed essentials and sweet Valentine cards, a coffee mug, candy, devotional, handmade stuffed animal, crocheted cross and more. We hope they felt our love and hope for them.
We continue to supply the Gavin Sharpe Blessing Box with food and knitted hats. The blessing box is located at the Feed Bucket on Main Street if you would like to contribute.
A big thanks to George Stone who works with NASCAR. He donated NASCAR jackets that we will take to Living Waters. He is the son of members Eleanor and Gayle Stone.
Hands On meets on Tuesdays at 12.30 in the FLC. Come when you can and leave when you need too!
